The Abruzzo hills, which are located between the mouths of the Sangro and Sinello rivers, are home to most of the vines of our company. This natural scenario offers fertile ground for the cultivation of native vines. An orderly, well-kept and intact agricultural context, in which biodiversity is a wealth consciously preserved by producers who operate in an organic regime.
The area benefits from strong temperature variations between day and night which, combined with good ventilation, guarantee the vines an ideal microclimate for vegetating and producing grapes of extraordinary quality. The sun, the Mediterranean climate and the mainly mixed-clayey soil, typical of this land, buffeted by the sea breeze that sweeps away the humidity, favor the planting of DOC and IGP vines.
Abruzzo is a territory whose winemaking vocation and enological has its roots in Roman times.
Numerous and precious vestiges testify to the presence of man from the Neolithic onward then to the Italic and Roman civilizations and, later, to the medieval lay and monastic communities through various dominations up to the Bourbon one before the unification of Italy
With the same “Italian spirit”, that of a people of navigators, we wish to make get to know our land, a part of our Abruzzo and of our Italy, through the diffusion of our wine. We do this by retracing the oldest e important commercial routes opened by the great navigators of every age.
Over the years, our productions have not concentrated exclusively on our territory, but we have increased them so as to be able to diversify them in all the major Italian agricultural areas that give life to the most important vines. We scrupulously follow each process, right from the very delicate stages of the harvest, to preserve the maximum aromatic complexity.
All this is characterized by unique wine productions, able to offer a wide range of wines of organoleptic and sensory excellence. Thanks to the presence of clayey and calcareous soils, the native grapes grown in these areas are able to fully express their distinctive characteristics, giving life to complex and intense wines.
Our wines are the result of careful and meticulous processing, which starts with the choice of the best grapes and continues with a vinification carried out with care and passion. Thanks to this attention to each stage of production, we are able to offer high quality wines, able to satisfy the most demanding palates.
